Psychosynthesis

What is Psychosynthesis?

Psychosynthesis, described as psychology with soul, was founded by Dr Roberto Assagioli (1888 – 1974). As a holistic approach it encompasses body, feelings and mind, and embraces intuition, inspiration and creativity as well. Therefore, it is understood as a psychospiritual psychology. Psychosynthesis sees human beings as spiritual beings with a desire to belong to a greater universal whole. Psychosynthesis is a journey of self-exploration to our true nature, our Self, the being and acting in this world, the meaning of life and our personal identity.

How Psychosynthesis can support in daily-life

In our day-to-day life, many healthy people find themselves driven by daily commitments, stressed and disconnected from their inner space. They suffer gradually from insecurity, anxiety, self-doubt, meaninglessness or inner conflicts which impact their vitality and wellbeing.

Psychosynthesis facilitates a journey of development and unfolding of the inner potential and wisdom. It helps people to better understand themselves and to discover their true essence. Methods such as mindfulness, meditation, visualisation and self-reflection will enable you to get in touch with your creative potential. They help to understand and free from negative dynamics and strengthen your confidence to act more freely and aligned in your daily life. Through consciousness and free will, which are important aspects of Psychosynthesis, you will become freer in making your own choices. Hence, you will take responsibility for your actions, for creating valuable relationships and a meaningful life.

There is a wide range of various methods in Psychosynthesis. Please find more information, book recommendations and practical exercises under Resources.
